The Vice Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) FCT Correspondent Chapel, Comrade Grace Ike has felicitated the Muslim faithful on the occasion of the Eid-el-Maulud.
Ike, who is the immediate past chairperson of the House of Representatives Press Corps and an activist, in a message on the Eid-el-Maulud celebration urged the Muslim brothers and sisters to imbibe the teaching of Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him) on love, peace tolerance and unity and also use the celebration to pray for Nigeria’s economic revival.
She said “I extend my heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim faithful in the FCT, Nigeria and around the world on the occasion of Eid-ul-Maulud, the celebration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
“As we mark this significant day, I pray that the teachings of the Prophet, which emphasize peace, love, and compassion, continue to guide us towards a more harmonious and united society. Let’s also use this celebration to pray for the economy of our beloved country.
“May this special day bring joy, blessings, and renewed hope to all Muslims. May we strive to emulate the Prophet’s exemplary leadership, tolerance, and kindness in our daily lives.
“Wishing you all a peaceful and joyous Eid-ul-Maulud celebration.”
